Soucy Named to BSHOF Board of Directors

Donald Soucy

The Bristol Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce the appointment of Donald Soucy to its Board of Directors. Mr. Soucy resides in Bristol with his wife Linda and has held the position of Eastern Regional Director of Little League Baseball since 1991. The Eastern Region of Little League Baseball is the largest in the world, covering 11 states and Washington D.C.  Born in Bristol, Soucy oversaw the construction of the Giamatti Little League Center. He also played an important role in making softball in the eastern region the largest softball program in Little League Baseball.

Donald Soucy attended Bristol Central High School (class of 1965) and Husson University (class of 1971). He previously served as the Vice Chairman of the Bristol School Board and also served on the Bristol Board of Finance. He has been involved with the Visiting Nurses Association, the American Red Cross, the Kiwanis Club and the Bristol Hospital. The Bristol Sports Hall of Fame looks forward to working with Donald Soucy on its Board of Directors.
