The Bristol Sports Hall of Fame elected a new slate of officers for the next two years.

Bob Kalat was elected as the Bristol Sports Hall of Fame President, returning to the role, having served the Hall of Fame previously as both the President and Vice President. Kalat, a former teacher and avid community volunteer, brings extensive experience to the role. In addition to his positions on the executive board, Kalat has served the BSHOF as the Induction booklet coordinator chairman and later co-chair of the Induction program and Chairman of the Selection committee.

Joining Bob Kalat as his Vice President is Sarah Larson. Larson has served as the Deputy Superintendent for Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services for six-years overseeing the administration of over 760 acres of park land, 3 aquatics facilities, hundreds of programs, social service programs, and a community theater. A director since 2020, Larson has previously served on the Selection Committee, Technology Committee, Induction Committee, and Leadership Committee. Sarah Larson’s election marks the first time a woman has served as the Hall of Fame’s Vice President.

Kalat and Larson join Secretary Eleanor Wilson and Treasurer Dave Greenleaf, who are currently serving a four-year term.
