Seeking Success and Leaving a Legacy

Over 300 people packed the DoubleTree in Bristol for the Bristol Sports Hall of Fame’s special event, “Seeking Success & Leaving a Legacy”. Hosted by Malcolm Huckaby, the event featured powerful stories and insights from hometown icons Jay Calnan and rising NBA star Donovan Clingan.

From entrepreneurial journeys to NBA dreams, their stories reminded us of the strength, resilience, and pride rooted in our community. Following speeches by Calnan and Clingan about their paths to success, the panelists engaged in a question-and-answer session, taking questions from the audience. Following the event, BSHOF randomly selected five attendees to win a basketball signed by Clingan, and audience members were able to take photos with the NBA star.  A video recording of the program can be found on the BSHOF website.
