FBC PING-PONG Team Defeats Shelton.
The Forestville Boys’ Club ping-pong team defeated the Shelton-Derby Boys’ Club 6-1 in a match held at the Forestville Boys’ Club this past week. The local team consisted (L-to-R); Rick Schmaltz, Bob Kalat, Glenn Block, John Anderson, Doug Holden, and xxxx.
CAPTURED SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP: The Forestville Boys’ Club Basketball Team won the Junior Sectional Championship of the Boys’ Club Annual Tournament that concluded last week in New Haven. Bill McCabe and Bart Beardsley were in the top scorers for the Forestville tossers against the New Haven Boys’ Club.
